In India, how is National Youth Day observed?

National Youth Day, also identified as Yuva Diwas or Swami Vivekananda's birthday in Indian culture and tradition, is commemorated annually with great enthusiasm and joy at many centers of Ramakrishna Math, Ramakrishna Mission, as well as their branches. There is a wonderful mangal aarti, devotional songs, meditation, religious words, sandhya aarti, and other activities.

Intergenerational programs can also be used to increase awareness about certain roadblocks to intergenerational solidarity, such as age discrimination, which affects both young and old people and has a negative impact on society as a whole.

Parades, speeches about Swami Vivekananda, lectures, songs, conventions, essay-writing competitions, symposiums, and some other events are also held at various schools and colleges. Students perform Swami Vivekananda's writings as well as lectures to inspire the Indian youth. Numerous rounds are also held outside of India to promote education, confidence among youths, and other aspects that will assist the nation's development.
